Wimberley Fire Rescue Firefighters want to thank all of the generous neighbors, friends and business owners who provided food and refreshments after the April 7, 2022 fire near Jacobs Well Elementary School. You are so good to us. Thank you!
April 7, 2002 Brush Fire behind Jacobs Well Elementary School on FM 2325 and Valley Springs Road in Wimberley.
School, homes and residents safe thanks to a huge response from Hays County Fire Departments, Wildland Task Force and State Task Force with air support.

A PUBLIC HEARING
ON A TAX INCREASE AND A
MEETING TO ADOPT A TAX RATE
OCCURED ON AUGUST 17, 2021
HAYS COUNTY ESD NO. 4 ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 7.67 PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $3.56.
