Wimberley Fire Rescue is proud to serve our community with dedication and professionalism. Since 2019, we have been operated by Hays County Emergency Services District #4, transitioning from the former Wimberley Volunteer Fire Department. This change has brought about a new era of excellence and commitment to fire safety and emergency response.

Our team is comprised of highly skilled and motivated career firefighters, both full-time and part-time. We are a group of dedicated individuals who strive to be the best-of-the-best in fire, rescue, and emergency services.

Our Operations:

• Location: Central Station is located at 111 Green Acres Dr., Wimberley, TX, in the heart of our District. We are in the process of establishing another manned station to better serve our community.

• Availability: We operate 24/7, 365 days a year, ensuring that we are always ready to respond to emergencies.

• Shift Structure: Our staff works in three shifts, each lasting 48 hours on duty followed by 96 hours off duty. Each shift is led by a Captain and includes a minimum of four firefighters, with plans to expand.
